Future Plans
CEIA are continuing to work towards implementing some of the major recommendations in the Village Development Plan, and to identify and initiate a viable community project that will contribute in some way towards self-sustainability in the longer term.

The association also aims to develop and strengthen links both within the local community and further a field.

Work is nearing completion on the final stage of the Riverside Walk, which leads from the village into an existing oak and beech woodland, opening up the natural environment to locals and visitors alike. The walk features a number of elements incorporating the river with its wildlife, flora and fauna, the woodland and the history of the old mill and waterways.

We have had numerous enquiries in the past from people investigating their family history. While resources are limited, we will do all we can to help and can make enquiries in the local community through our bi-monthly newsletter, "The Village Voice" and other local sources.
