BACKGROUND
The Association has
been in existence for over 20 years and was involved in providing
the village with a much needed Community Centre and new Library.
They acted as the instigator/umbrella group for the newly formed
Bushmills Development Group and they support the Group's activities.
They remain involved with fundraising for the Senior Citizens
of the area.
AIMS AND OBJECTIVES
• To continue to provide a vehicle for
community issues.
• To continue to raise funds and to
organise the annual Senior Citizens Christmas Dinner.
• To encourage job creation and small
funding projects to fruition in the village.
• To promote the refurbishment of the
derelict buildings in the village.
• To assist in providing necessary services
for villagers and visitors.
INITIATIVES TO DATE
Going for some twenty years. Assisting with
setting up the Bushmills Re-Generation Group, The provision of
the Community Centre and Bushmills Library. Promoting activities
for the Senior Citizens
