The Millennium Big Picture Book

Cushendall Development Group has just published this book. It is a culmination of over a year's hard work. It includes over 600 photographs of families that live in Cushendall.

Over 80% of the population of the village took part in this community project and we are extremely pleased with the results. The book is available locally or through mail order.

Illustrated Map of Cushendall

This poster map (A2 in size) was produced using the knowledge of the local people in the village. It not only provides a guide around the village but also is illustrated with local stories, history and pictures. The book is available locally or through mail order.

'Focus' Newsletter

Do you want to be kept up to date with what's happening with village life? Cushendall Development Group produce a newsletter- Focus- five times per year. If you wish to subscribe to the newsletter you can do so through our office.

'Glimpse of the Glens' Video

The stunning scenery of the Glens of Antrim forms the backdrop to this journey with a camera. 'A Glimpse of the Glens' gives a unique insight into the music, song and dance of the glens as they have evolved in living memory. This journey introduces the viewer to real people sharing their love of the Glens and its musical culture. This is also available by mail order.

Townlands in Cushendall - a dying tradition

A look at the 64 townlands that the village is made up of. The information was collected from people- young and old in the village and is included in a booklet.
