I feel that people who don't get too involved in community life are not informed well enough. (Resident aged 17years)

Most times I don't know what is happening until the decisions are made. (Resident of Loughgiel for 22 years)

I think it is good that there are plenty of good things happening in Loughgiel but not all of the people know about them. You have to go out and find these things out for yourself. (Resident in Loughgiel for 26 years)

Well I know about different public meetings that happen but I have not managed to get along to them. Being a newcomer to the area I feel a bit out of it. (Resident in Loughgiel for 2 years)

I hear talk around the place like in the shop about things going on - I'm not involved really because these things seem to happen before I know about them. (Resident in Loughgiel for 21 years)

Most people only want to get involved in issues affecting them directly leaving the majority of decisions to the same groups of people.(Resident in Loughgiel for 23 years)

Several groups are elected to do this  - I am quite happy to let them make the decisions.(Resident in Loughgiel for 23 years)
