MOYLE ONE STOP SHOP ( MOSS)

PROGRAMME OVERVIEW

Moyle One Stop Shop (MOSS) is a two year project funded by Moyle Local Strategy Partnership (MLSP) and managed by North Antrim Community Network (NACN).

MOSS aims to provide a locally based funding advice service, which is open to all residents of Moyle District.

Since MOSS officially opened its doors for business on Monday 8 th September 2003 , many individuals and community organisations have accessed a diversity of support relating to grant applications for a diversity of projects.

SUPPORT SERVICES                   

MOSS has built up the resources to enable a comprehensive service to be provided for all enquiries:

Resources include: Funding Reference library including regional directories and UK wide publications; IT Grant search facilities including Grantfinder, Grant Tracker and MOSS' single-funder downloads.

Assistance is provided for clients through:

•  planning project development;

•  deciphering funders' guidelines and funding criterion;

•  drafting application forms including budgets;

•  supplying IT support for on-line applications;

•  supplying telephone support dealing directly with funders;

•  supporting information to accompany application forms including Business plans and Feasibility studies and

•  establishing networks to benefit enquirers'needs. e.g.: Invest NI
